ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL
USES: This medication is used to treat funagl skin infections.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication.
To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medication to the affected area and surorunding skin.
Continue to use the mediaction as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to reutrn. Cvoer with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor.
It may take one week before any imrpovement is seen. If no imporvement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor. Another medication may be necessary. Do not apply that medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cuase burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. This should disappear in a few days as your body adjutss to the medication.
If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promplty. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your mdeical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using that drug, tell your doctor if you're pregnnat or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products.
Do not strat or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swalloewd.
NOTES: This medication is prescribed for your current codnition only.
Do not use it for aonther infection or share it with someone else. Anotehr infection later on may require a different medicine.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as rememebred and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room tempearture away from moisture and sunlight.
Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getitng wet. Do not store in the bathroom.
Keep out of the recah of kids.
